In 2008, Dow Ludington Operations will commission a community perception survey, contacting over 3000 local area residents to allow them to ask questions and express their comments about our operations. The survey will measure residents' overall perceptions of Dow and how they view our performance in the areas of community commitment, environmental action and communications. In addition, it will measure the improvements created as a result of changes initiated by the results of the 2000 community survey.

The results of the 2008 survey will be used to develop and implement new action plans to build upon areas of strength and to address opportunities for improvement.
